7000 was numerically the last Fleetline to be bought by West Midlands PTE and was delivered to Walsall in February 1979. It spent time working from Wolverhampton and Dudley, before ending up at Perry Barr where it became the display vehicle at shows. In February 1997 it was delicensed and stored at Selly Oak. It was taken out of store to Perry Barr, where it was tidied up, and the transfers applied for the end of the Daimler era. After being MOT'd it ran one more day in service from Washwood Heath, and was the last Fleetline in West Midlands service. After running in that day, it was kindly presented to Aston Manor Road Transport Museum.

7000 is currently stored away from Witton, but will make a return to service in the near future.
