    Aston Manor Road Transport Museum hosts regular events throughout the year, including open days with visiting vehicles attending, and running a vintage bus service. EVENTS PROGRAMME

 

                         

MONDAY – 26th MAY

THREE MUSEUMS RUNNING DAY      Visit Aston Manor Transport Museum and BaMMOT                                                                   

                                                                        at Wythall.  Heritage Bus service linking the two        

                                                                        Museums.  Tickets available covering admission to       

                                                                        both Museums and travel by bus.  Adults £8,

                                                                        Children £4, Family Ticket £20.                                                                                               

                                                                        + FREE service to the City’s Museum Collection                       

                                                                        Centre at Dollman Street provided by Aston Manor.

                                                                        Car parking available at Witton for visitors. 

 

SUNDAY - 13th JULY

2ist MUSEUM OPEN DAY &                     Displays of vehicles at the Museum + sales stands          

VEHICLE GATHERING AND                    & other attractions.  Free Bus Service to and from                                                        

OUTER CIRCLE RUNNING DAY             City Centre.  Plus Free Historic Bus rides around part                                                   

                                                                        of the Outer Circle with guest vehicles.

 

SATURDAY & SUNDAY – 13/14th SEPTEMBER

HERITAGE OPEN DAYS                           Admission to Museum will be free.  Further details to                                                           

WEEKEND                                                   be announced closer to date. 

 

SUNDAY 19th OCTOBER

SPECIAL RUNNING DAY                         This event will have a specific Midland Red theme.

                                                                        More details will follow!.  FREE bus service to and

                                                                        from City Centre + sales stands.

 

SUNDAY 30th NOVEMBER

12th ANNUAL COLLECTORS’ FAIR       Sales stands, exhibitions of models etc. PLUS FREE       

                                                                 Bus Service to and from City Centre.

 

 

 

 

ALL EVENTS RUN FROM 11am TO 5 pm – apart from Collectors’ Fair which will finish at 4 pm.

IT IS HOPED TO ONCE AGAIN OPERATE FREE HERITAGE BUS SERVICES TO SEVERAL OF BIRMINGHAM’S OTHER MUSEUMS, PROVISIONALLY PLANNED FOR THE FIRST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH FROM MAY TO OCTOBER.  CHECK HERE FOR LATEST INFORMATION.
