Metro-Cammell produced this rival to the London Black cab, powered by a Ford Transit diesel engine and with much of the body manufactured in glass fibre. Whilst it picked up a good share of the market it did not stop MCW going out of business within a year. However, Reliant of Tamworth continued to build the cab, production later passing to Hoopers.
