The early history of UF7039 is not yet clear; it may have been built as a car and converted to a pick up during the 1939-45 war, or may always have been a pick-up. It came to a timber company in Sutton Coldfield in the 1990s and was used for local deliveries and as a marketing feature for the company, until it suffered an engine failure due to frost damage. It has come to the Museum for display and, hopefully, for restoration to running order.
