A chance for Lloyd Penfold to inspect the underside of the vehicle over the pit for the first time. The pit is an original feature of the Tram Depot, and the Tram tracks can clearly be seen along the top edges of the pit. On the right is the access passage to the wheel drop area, where the running gear of the trams was removed, by having removable track.
